While we are wooden canoe enthusiasts, we welcome any type of canoe or kayak to join our outings. In fact, many of us have non-wooden canoes that we use when we paddle on water where it might be rocky or have other obstacles.

January 14 - Cadiz Ohio, 1 pm. Sharing canoe stories and discussing paddling techniques

11 February - Bethel Park PA. Slide presentation by Larry Barth that encompassed his career as a sculptor of birds, building his wooden canoe, and a lifetime of family canoe trips in Algonquin Park.

18 March - Silk screening Chapter t-shirts

Apri 21 and 22 - Moraine State Park paddle

May 27 - Laurel Hill State Park. Nature walk and Free-style demonstration

June 2, 3, and 4 - Solo Canoe Rendezvous at Cooper's Lake

June 23, 24, 25 - Big kids and Little kids on the Allegheny River

July 11 to 16 - WCHA Assembly at Paul Smith's College, New York

August 12 - Joint paddle with a Cleveland boating club on Leesville Lake

September 8, 9, 10 - Allegheny River paddle around Tidioute

October 6, 7, 8 - Mini Assembly at Gifford Pinchot State Park (PA)

October - Annual meeting and dinner at Sylvan Boat Club
